What is "Camber"? A quick overview.

I've been asked lately what is camber? What does it mean?

camber (noun)

Camber applies in two ways:

1. The outward or inward tilt of the tire and wheel assembly.

2. The slightly convex or arched shape of a road or other horizontal surface. (Or, as the British definition describes it, a tilt built into a road at a bend or curve, enabling vehicles to maintain speed).

Camber is also the name of a very cool Golden Retriever, of whose owners are good friends of ours and they are both great high-performance drivers.
